Lisa is a UX designer based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Highlights from Lisa’s project work

My approach

I follow a user-centred design approach by understanding and aligning business objectives with the needs of end-users. I focus on the specific problem the user needs to solve or the task they want to achieve.

I work collaboratively with clients by going through rapid cycles of work, feedback, refinement, and validation to deliver a useful and successful experience for users.

In design audits and reviews, I refer to key usability principles such as NNGroup’s 10 rules of thumb for user interface design and Aarron Walter’s hierarchy of user needs.

Design process

  1. Understand
  2. Research
  3. Analyse
  4. Design
  5. Validate (test, learn, refine)

Webpage displayed on a laptop screen showing a map and additional vehicle information. In front are a mobile and a tablet displaying driver logbook hours.

Upgrading the map experience for users across two platforms and for users on any device. A chunky design project that also involved revising UI interactions and key functionality.

Creating a stand-out online experience that any user can build. An end-to-end design project to help users build more effective web content for all devices and screens.
