I’m a Product User Experience Designer. Currently in New Zealand, previously in Canada, USA, France & the UK.

My work profile combines digital strategy and full stack marketing with experience design. Sounds like a mouthful. Basically I link design and marketing together to help communicate much more effectively, to win more business or drive a more powerful message.

For me, technology is an enabler. It’s what it can achieve that is so exciting. I moved into experience design because I love the process, the discovery: studying behaviour, understanding where the problem or opportunity lies, digging into the why we do things — and then designing ways to make life better (easier, more delightful, more awesome) in response to that discovery process.

Informed approach. I use research to inform the direction of my work. User research. Market research. Competitor research. 

Business minded. I help someone solve a problem by supplying a product or service to meet their needs. As a marketer I aim to communicate the value of products and services to make sales, win over returning customers and achieve business goals.

People-first focus. I centre my projects around someone’s journey. That someone is a user, a customer.

Design eye. I ensure that users who interact with a company, its products or services can accomplish what they need to do, and to do it well.

You’ll find me enthusiastically discussing urban design 🏘️, sustainable transport 🚝, and clever tech 🤖. I enjoy being active, whether that’s squash ⚫️, soccer ⚽️, or volleyball 🏐. Else I’ll be playing Duolingo 🦉, word or board games 🧩, hiking 🥾 or bike packing 🚲, and meeting interesting people along the way! 🤩
